Yoga Practice with Rebecca Riley

My relationship with yoga began as a teenager, trying to learn solo from photos in an ancient paperback.   

 

Over the decades since then I have practised many styles of yoga and found something special in all of them, but even in those first solitary experiments I knew yoga was something I badly needed.  I craved the way yoga required my absolute and undiluted presence, becoming a whole-body meditation that nurtured a sense of mental and physical freedom, and a feeling of delight.

 

My 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training with Jamie Blowers of Jamie Yoga provided a powerful focus on alignment within dynamic movement, building strength inwardly and out.  My 50-hour specialist teacher training in Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark, took me deeper into the study of bringing body, breath and mind to a transformative stillness.

 

Off the yoga mat, I work as a fitness instructor and Pilates teacher, and a scholar of mystical philosophy.   Yoga represents the sweet spot where the two halves of myself meet and find balance.

You will see my joy for the practice when you work with me, a joy I would like to help you find for yourself, whatever your existing level of experience and flexibility. The aim of Yoga Limba is to create a joyous and harmonious suppleness of body and mind.  I look forward to sharing it with you.
